Goodbye Kashay Salon ... Hello Circie

Nach dem es in den letzten Wochen immer mehr Gerüchte gab, hat heute der Kashay Salon sich selbst zu Wort gemeldet.

"Many of you have been part of this journey
on the dancefloor, behind the decks, on stage, at the bar, in conversations at sunrise, in long nights that turned into mornings.

We are deeply thankful for every single one of you who shaped this space. A beautiful community of people from different backgrounds, cultures and life stories.

Thank you for the experiences of the past six years.

Independent clubs and nightlife
are under increasing pressure and sustaining them has become more difficult across many cities.
Clubbing is becoming more of a luxury, and we see venues closing around us.
Rising operating costs, energy prices and broader economic shifts have fundamentally changed the framework.

Over the past two years
this reality has affected us as well.
As a result, our company Kashay Productions can no longer continue.
We know that moments like this affect people in different ways and we are aware that this situation has impacted not only us but others around the project as well. We are truly sorry for the frustration this may have caused.

In order to survive
within this environment, we gradually found ourselves
operating in a more finance-driven way than originally intended and we recognized that this was not the vision our project was built on.
As our company have to close, we will continue but in a completely new form.

A structure ends, the space remains
Kashay Productions was never just a company to us.
It was a vision of bringing people together.
Our contribution to a colorful Dresden.
A room for exchange and real connection.
A place for our own and multiple other musical and artistic visions.
That energy continues.

Today, we close one chapter and open a new one.

Circie"
