Unter dem diesjährigen Motto AUSSICHTEN AN DER ELBE erkunden wir Zukunftsperspektiven unserer Stadt am Fluss – drei Tage mit viel Musik, Kunst und Kulinarik für alle – kostenlos und ohne Grenzen.

Unter anderem werden folgende Musiker*innen dabei sein: Ensemble Aman, Fiatelle Blaskapelle, KnarfMitteKillRellöm (Hamburg), Las Perras del infierno, Loma Reqs (Hamburg), Oak Bell (Berlin), Talin (Berlin) und der ukrainische Wolja Chor. Darüber hinaus bieten wir an allen drei Tagen künstlerische Workshops an sowie Kochkunst aus Usbekistan, Sudan, Venezuela und Vietnam, ein Familien- und Kinderprogramm, RepaRad-Station und Toiletten zum Wohlfühlen.
Neu in diesem Jahr ist die Zusammenarbeit mit den Clubs der Bürger:Bühne: Die theatralen und performativen Ergebnisse der diesjährigen Club-Saison werden überall auf dem Festival zu entdecken sein. Wir freuen uns auf euch!

Vom 19. bis 21. Juni verwandeln sich der Martin-Luther-Platz und die umliegenden Straßen erneut in ein buntes Festgelände. Der Bunte Sommer Neustadt findet dieses Jahr zum bereits vierten Mal statt und bringt den Geist der legendären BRN zurück in die Straßen der Äußeren Neustadt.

Organisiert wird das Straßenfest ehrenamtlich vom synthēse e.V. und seinen rund 40 engagierten Mitgliedern, die seit drei Jahren ehrenamtlich Kulturevents in der Stadt auf die Beine stellen. Auch dieses Mal soll ein Nachbarschaftsfest entstehen, das vor allem lebendig und gemeinschaftlich ist.

Über das Festgelände verteilt findet auf insgesamt fünf Bühnen ein vielfältiges Kulturprogramm mit überwiegend regionalen Künstler:innen, Bands und DJs statt. 
Lokale Gewerbetreibende sowie Anwohnende des Viertels bereichern das Fest mit eigenen Ständen und Programmpunkten. Speisen und Getränke werden sowohl vom Verein als auch von lokal ansässigen Gastronomiebetrieben angeboten.

Die vom Texture Printmaking Studio initiierte Ausstellung versammelt vier Künstlerinnen, die ihren gemeinsamen Blick auf die verborgene Ästhetik taiwanesischer Straßen und Gassen richten. Im Zentrum der künstlerischen Auseinandersetzung stehen filigrane Fliesenmuster, kühle Terrazzoböden und jene charakteristischen, dekorativen Eisengitter, die das Stadtbild Taiwans seit Generationen prägen. Diese alltäglichen Ansichten werden hier jedoch nicht als bloße architektonische Details verstanden; sie sind die äußere Hülle des urbanen Lebens und zugleich Träger kollektiver Erinnerungen sowie historischer Spuren, die sich über verschiedene Epochen hinweg in das kulturelle Gedächtnis eingeschrieben haben. Mithilfe einzigartiger manueller Reproduktionstechniken der Druckgrafik gelingt es den Künstlerinnen, diese starren architektonischen Symbole in visuelle Erzählungen voller Wärme zu verwandeln. Dabei spielt das Material eine ebenso tragende Rolle wie das Motiv selbst: Die Ausstellung integriert auf intensive Weise lokales taiwanesisches Büttenpapier und schafft so einen Raum für eine tiefgehende, sinnliche Erkundung. An dieser „kulturellen Schnittstelle“ begegnen sich die feine Textur des Papiers, der urbane Kontext der Insel, das kulturelle Gedächtnis ihrer Bewohner und die meisterhafte Ausführung zeitgenössischer Druckkunst.

Izabela Kałduńska - born 1990 in Gdańsk, Poland. She began to play violin at the age of seven. 2009 she graduated from the Feliks Nowowiejski Music School in Gdańsk with honors. Later she finished her Bachelor and Master degrees in classical and jazz violin with professors Roland Baldini, Kathrin ten Hagen, Andreas Seidel and Thomas Prokain at Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Leipzig. She won numerous prizes in competitions like Hochschulwettbewerb der HMT Leipzig, 20. & 21. Century Music Competition for Young Artists in Warsaw, 5th Witold Lutosławski Competition in Warsaw, 32nd Chamber Music Competition in Wrocław, 3rd Irena Dubiska Violin Competition in Łódź and many others.

To improve her technical and artistic skills Izabela participated in many masterclasses in various lands with professors Igor Ozim, Stefan Picard, Christian Altenburger, Mark Gothoni, Ida Bieler, Andrzej Kulka, Fulvio Leofreddi, Sergey Kravchenko, Andrzej Gębski and Michał Grabarczyk. She performed as a soloist with orchestras Kammerakademie Halle, Leipziger Universitätsorchester, Akademisches Orchester Leipzig, Hochschulorchester der HMT Leipzig and Sinfonietta Gedanensis. She received some scholarships, among others from the President of the City of Gdańsk, Polish Ministry of Culture, Freundeskreis der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Leipzig, DAAD, Kammerakademie Halle and Kulturstiftung des Freistaates Sachsen (Denkzeit Scholarship), Kulturstiftung des Bundes, Musikfonds, Neustart Kultur.

During her studies she was mainly active as a member of various orchestras (Statskapelle Halle, Kammerakademie Halle, Philharmonie Leipzig, Leipziger Symphonieorchester, Junge Deutsche Philharmonie) and ensambles (Forma Leipzig, Contemporary Insights, Ensemble Ambidexter). Nowadays she teaches the violin at Music School Fantamusie and gives regular concerts not only of classical music but also of free improvisation, experimental music, jazz, folk, and ambient. Her current projects are balkan folk band Herje Mine, jazz ensembles ‘Schrabbe, Bach und der Weisse Hai’, Aurora Oktett, solo project The New Solarism, experimental music trio LIS and fun party electronic duo Ichor. She recorded music and live performances for Arte Concert, Polskie Radio 2, Radio Blau, Radio Corax and Mitteldeutsche Rundfunk MDR. In 2018 she started composing her own music and continues to do so.

Besides writing pieces for solo violin destined to her own performance, she composed pieces for the jazz octet Ambidexter Ensemble (“T. Wave” 2019 and “Faster than the Time” 2022), for Philharmonie Leipzig orchestra (“2020B – 4 Deconstructions after 2nd Beethoven’s Symphony for 8 Instruments and Speaker” 2020), for singer Karolina Borowczyk and her project Mickiewicz. (“Resignation IX.” 2021), for balkan ensemble Herje Mine (“Lipszczanka” 2022), and for her sorbian folk songs duo project with singer Walburga Walde (“Noc 24.2.2022” 2022 and “Majska Noc” 2022). In June 2021 she released her first solo LP ‘The New Solarism – Studies of Myself’, consisting of her compositions for violin and effects.

Bei der Tharandter Rockmusik-Kapelle TURBOLOCH ist der Name Programm. So ist die am Rande des Oster-Z-Gebirges beheimatete Band prädestiniert für Vorband-Slots bei Stomgitarrenkonzerten aller Couleur, überzeugt insbesondere bei höherer Drehzahl drei Bier aufwärts. Der Opel Sprinter ihres Trommelpferds bringt sie zuverlässig an jedes Ziel und sie machen Terminmusik in aller Herren Länder. In seinen Texten verarbeitet der berüchtigte Internet-hater Stiehlow die steilen Abgründe mit Hang zur Tristesse aus dem Alltag des sächsichen Forststädtchens und wird dabei von seinen schlechtbezahlten Mitmusikern stiehlecht begleitet. 

Die Dresdner Formation ZU HAUSER spielt in klassischer Powerrock-Besetzung einen eher unklassischen Genremix aus Indie, Punk, sphärischen Postrock-Elementen, Stoner-Anleihen und ein paar Metal-Versatzstücken. All das garniert mit Texten, die irgendwo zwischen Reduktion, mantrenhafter Wiederholung, Spitzfindigkeit und einem Spritzer Poesie existieren - schräg, eingängig, intensiv interpretiert. Trotz aller Artistik ist die Musik von ZU HAUSER dabei nicht artifiziell; reizt zwar das klassische Songformat bis fast zum Zerreißen aus, bleibt ihm aber dennoch stets treu. Musik, die viel Gewohntes hat und trotzdem manchmal wie aus einer anderen Klangdimension herüberzuklingen scheint. Irgendwie aus der Ferne und doch hier zu Hauser. Die vielleicht passendste Schublade für diesen energetischen, rauen, schillernden Klangteppich der vier Dresdner und des einen Leipzigers ist die, wo da steht: Indie-Art-Punk.
