Victoria Gentsch residing in Dresden and raised in Hagen am Teutoburger Wald, is a visual artist focussing on photography, sculpture, and performance.
In her sculptural works she tries to make room for things, ideas and feelings like containers, nests and homes do via different mediums.
In 2014, she completed a Bachelor's degree in Art Education and Art History at the University of Osnabrück under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Barbara Kaesbohrer and apl. Prof. Thomas Rohrmann. After a residency with the Hansung University in Seoul, Korea in 2018 with the class of Prof. Eberhard Bosslet, she studied abroad in the class of Rony Plesl, head of the Studio of Glass at the Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague. Gentsch obtained her Diploma in 2021 in sculpture and spatial art at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts in the class of Prof. Monika Brandmeier.
